"TURKMENHOVAYOLLARY" STATE CIVIL AVIATION DEPARTMENT NAMED AFTER THE PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN SAPARMYRAT TURKMENBASHY THE GREAT

The modern aviation complex have been built, the second runway of the Ashgabat Airport, modern aeronovigation systems of flights safety had been completed and entered into operation. For performance of flights on minimum of the second category ICAO the runway is equipped by the lighting system of the firm "Cegelec" and course-regulation of the firm "Racal ILS"

Now in the airport of Ashgabat city the Airline of Uzbekistan, Armenia, Ukraine, Germany, Turkey, Iran, etc., carry out their flights.

Further Airport of Ashgabat city will be created as the transit airport from Europe to Asia.

Today Turkmen pilots flight to more than 30 countries all over the world.

National airline "Turkmenistan airlines" is the member of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), International Air Transport Association (IATA).

The operation of the center in airport equipped by the modern aeronovigation equipment is started; the medical center had been constructed. Three planes "Boeing737", four "Boeing 757", two helicopters "Sikorski-76", three "Boeing 717" Business-class plane "BAE-125", two helicopters" Super-Puma" have been bought. The agreement on purchase of two planes "Boeing 717" and one VIP "Boeing 767", two helicopters "Sikorski-92". The new airport in Balkanabat was opened on October 7th, 2004

MINISTRY OF RAILWAY TRANSPORT OF TURKMENISTAN

It provides effective interaction of all branches of a national economy, need of the national economy and its population in transportations of cargoes and passengers, assists in strengthening mutually advantageous relations with neighboring countries.

Owing to the thought over, far-sighted and steady decisions of the First President of Turkmenistan Saparmurat Turkmenbashy the Great for years of independence the railway branch became one of priority directions in the field of communications and has achieved the new high level of development.

Transport communications of Turkmenistan do possible transit and delivery of export-import cargoes in the direction the Far East - the Middle East, to the countries of the Central and Western Europe. It is provided due to transit corridors.

Constructed during independence and put into operation in 1996 the branch line Tedzhen-Serahs-Mashad with the extention of 308 kilometers (from them of 132 kilometers passes through the territory of Turkmenistan), and also the branch lines constructed in five new railway stations, basically, on the frontier railway crossing of station Serahs, promote to connect steel roads of the Europe and Asia and to revive the Great Silk way to the most reliable - a steel kind. Now every year in these two directions pass thousand cars, and these are millions ton of the cargoes bringing the significant income to the treasury of the state. Turkmenistan becomes confident the largest transit states in the Central Asia.

In the end of 1999 construction of railway Turkmenabat-Atamyrat by extention of 203 km is completed. This branch line, having connected five regional centers of Lebap area with the city of Turkmenabat, and also with capital Ashgabat, passes on the left coast of Amu Darya river.

With end of construction of the bridge with parallel automobile and the railway in the extent nearby the one and a half kilometer, new branch line Turkmenabat-Atamurat -Kerikichi becomes the basic part of transport system of the Central Asia. Extent of the branch line with bridge crossing makes 215 kilometers.

With input of the basic road perspective conditions for the prompt industrial development of underground minerals of the right coast of region Govurdak-Kojtendag will prbe provided .

In 2006 with put into exploitation the transkarakum railway Ashgabat-Karakumy-Dashoguz road the time of travel between two largest areas of the country - Akhal and Dashoguz areas was reduced, one more shortest way of the international railway the North-South is opened.

Now extension of the railway of Turkmenistan makes more than 3 thousand kilometers. Of them about 900 kilometers are constructed for years of independence.

Production of the railway transportation: transportations of economic cargoes and passengers, construction of new railways, artificial constructions, objects of housing, social and industrial purpose, release of inert materials, ferroconcrete items and tens ferroconcrete products applied to the construction of various objects.

MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND MEDICAL INDUSTRY OF TURKMENISTAN

For the years of the Independence the economic and social life of the country is reformed rapidly. The Independent and Neutral Turkmenistan have achieved the international recognition in all fields of economy and social life.

The greatest successes were achieved by the Ministry of health and medical industry of Turkmenistan. In accordance with the State Program "Health" of the President of Turkmenistan Saparmurat Turkmenbashi the Great new modern hospitals and diagnostic centers equipped as per the last scientific and engineering achievements as well as comfortable houses for employees of the Ministry have been built. Thus, in 1998 was put into operation the International Medical Center named after S.A.Niyazov and was completed the construction of the Diagnostic Centers in Ashgabat, Mary, Dashoguz, Balkanabat and Turkmenabat cities. In 2001 in Ashgabat city were put into operation the Nephrological Center for 150 patients, the Central Hospital named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashi and 3 many-stored high comfortable houses, the Medical Center for mother and child for 100 patients and 14-stored building of the Ministry of health and medical industry of Turkmenistan in the Berzengi area.

The greatest successes were achieved in the field of providing the population with the local medicines. The Amalgamation "Turkmendermansenagat" has 4 enterprises producing medicines and raw materials and more than 1000 persons are working at the enterprises. Presently the quantity of manufactured products is approximately 200 types of medicines.

The liquorice root and its dense extract produced at this Amalgamation, are used in the pharmaceutical production as well as in other fields of industry.

The Amalgamation produces the various medicines in form of tablets, capsules, injection in ampoules and in vials, ointment, powders in aluminum packs; and packages herbs and produces tinctures out of them, medical alcoholic tincture of iodine; and also produces the medical cotton-wool, packed into 50 kg bales and into polyethylene packets by 50, 100, 150, 200 and 250 gr., as well as mustard plasters, medical dressings and 13 types of different infusion solutions, and also toothpaste are produced at the enterprise.

The most part of medicines produced at this enterprise are included into the insurance list to be sold to the population with allowances.

The National Medicines Institute of Turkmenistan carries out the scientific investigation for developing new medicines on the basis of raw materials.

MINISTRY OF MOTOR TRANSPORT AND ROADS OF TURKMENISTAN

Implementation of stable and safety operations of road transport and appropriate maintenance of highway’s net in order to satisfy needs of economy and population of Turkmenistan in view of Automobile transportations and furnished highways of public use und structures along them.

"TURKMENDENIZDERYAYOLLARY" ADMINISTRATION

Within the short period of time since the Independence has been announced Turkmenbashy city marine port was restored and expanded. This made it possible for foreign vessels to moor.

Moreover before it was considered marine gate to the Central Asia. The significance of the sea port during the Great Patriotic War was indicated by golden letters on the pages of History.

From the very beginning of Independence "Turkmendenizderyayollary" administration purchased 4 ships of International category. These ships were given names of "Saparmurat Niyazow", "Mahtumkuly", "Turkmenistan", "Balkan" which made much profit for us. "Balkan" ship passed a long way from Gibraltar to the Atlantic ocean. It happened in Gurbansoltan (April) 1997. Other ships owned by "Turkmendenizderyayollary" also perform their work for the sake of our country. At the moment "Lachin", "Alaja", "Charlak", "Arzuw" serve ship arriving from foreign countries. Other ships bring salt from Guvli duz and beshifit from Garabogazgol within the area of the internal waters. These goods continue their further traveling by railroad.

MINISTRY OF CONSTRUCTION AND INDUSTRY OF BUILDING MATERIALS OF TURKMENISTAN

Ministry of construction and industry of building materials of Turkmenistan is state body in the field of architecture, construction, town-planning, industry of building materials and the seismology, realizing strategy of development of the building complex.

In structure of the Ministry function about 50 enterprises and the organizations: construction, industrial, research, design and others primary goals of which is carrying out of the state policy in the field of architecture, construction, town-planning and manufacture of building materials.

Carrying out in the field of construction the Ministry develops the uniform technical politics, the statement and the edition of Building norms of Turkmenistan (ÑÍÒ), the methodical management in the field of designing, pricings, budget business and engineering researches, promotes introduction of new technologies and building materials for needs of a building complex, carries out quality assurance and observance of requirements of building norms, standards and technical requirements in construction.

The ministry carries out the state licensing activity on designing and construction of buildings and constructions, manufacture of building materials, products and designs, carries out state expert appraisal of projects, estimates and feasibility reports in the field of construction and manufactures of building materials.

Research and project institutes, among which scientific research institutes "Seismology", "Turkmendovletaslama", "Turkmecommuntaslama" and "Senagattaslama", jobs on carrying out of seismological researches, development of maps of seismic division into districts of territories of Turkmenistan, introduction of methods of the raised seismic stability of buildings and constructions, realization of development of the general plan of Ashagabat with prospect of development till 2020 are performed, design and exploration work on objects of construction engineering, welfare and household purpose are carried out.

Production associations "Argachgurlushyk", "Dashoguzvelayatgurlushyk", "Lebapgurlushyk" carry out construction of objects of housing purpose, cottages in Arcgabil and Chogonly places, drama theatre in Dashoguz. The ministry is the customer on construction of marble factory in place Ovadan-depe and schools on 500 places and a kindergarten on 160 places in Ashgabat.

By the industrial enterprises of the Ministry it is developed about 30 names of kinds of production, which structure includes more than 100 versions: building glass, slate, asbest-concrete and ferroconcrete pipes, brick ceramic, wall stones concrete, nonmetallic materials, haydite, products and designs from precast concrete, enriched Kaolin, waterproofing materials, a commodity output and others.
